Collection: I needed to hear that

Created in honour of Suicide Prevention Month and Mental Health Awareness, this collection explores the emotions we often struggle to put into words — pain, loneliness, vulnerability, hope and the quiet strength it takes to keep going.

each artwork invites you to pause, reflect and, most importantly, start a conversation.

These pieces are reminders that you are not alone. That your feelings are valid. That asking for help is not weakness. And that even when you cannot see a way forward, there can still be something worth staying for.

Inspired by music, lived emotion and the complexities of being human, the collection holds space for both darkness and hope. Some works speak gently. Others ask difficult questions. Together, they invite us to check in with ourselves and the people we love — because sometimes a simple conversation can make a difference.

If one of these artworks reminds you of someone, let it be a reason to reach out. Ask how they really are. Listen without judgement. Start the conversation.

You never know the difference a few words might make.
